Dana Martin Curtis born Oct. 25, 1922 in Hollywood, passed away Oct. 10, 2006 in Lakeport.
Survived by seven children, Kathryn Embree, Daniel Curtis, Sheila McNamara, Christopher Curtis, Mathew Curtis, Mary Sue Bradley and Julie Vargo; along with their spouses, 27 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
A US Marine during World War II and a carpenter for over 50 years. A member of St Mary Immaculate Parish. He was involved in helping out at the Lakeport Senior Center, including calling BINGO games. Always had a helping hand for anyone in need. Dana had a great love for the Lake County Passion Play and built the original stage settings and tables that are still in use today. We will remember him as a giving and loving father and a devoted husband for over 50 years to the late Kathryn Theresa Curtis.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial mass at 2 p.m Sunday Oct. 15 at Queen of the Rosary Church in 3892 Country Club Drive in Lucerne. With a reception to follow at 287 14th Street in Lakeport.
