Clearlake resident James Roberts, 45, has been arrested in connection with the killing of a woman who is presently unidentified.
At approximately 12:14 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, Clearlake Police officers were dispatched to an address on Mullen Avenue for several 911 hangups. Upon arrival, the body of a deceased female adult was located inside the residence. Evidence on scene, along with witness statements, indicated that the female had been the victim of a homicide.
CPD officers spent several hours collecting evidence on scene. The suspect, Roberts, was a resident of the home at which the homicide occured. He was contacted on scene and arrested for the crime.
The CPD reports that the victim”s identity is pending confirmation and family notification. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 18, with the Sonoma County Coroner.
