* Vehicle amnesty days are available to Clearlake residents, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, and Saturday, Oct. 28, at Middletown Towing and Vehicle Dismantlers, 15970 Polk Avenue in Clearlake. Title to a vehicle is not required to dispose of vehicles. California Highway Patrol officers and volunteers, as well as Lake County Code Compliance staff, will be on site to assist participants with the necessary forms to release ownership.
