Rights no longer matter?

I really would like to make my comments appropriately respectful, but I am so tired of hearing that our rights are no longer important happiness, speech and so forth. What is freedom? When my great-grandparents came here one of the first things they tried to do, and did, was learn to speak English, to make sure their children got an education. They worked hard to provide for their families, they became Americans and voted. And we still knew where they came from, and the history of the country of their birth. Now we have a government that says our rights that we and our parents, grandparents and so forth stood up for are not all that important. You tell me what is going on. This government is for the people, by the people. So we don”t count now …

We, the people, should not be afraid of our government, but our government should be very afraid of we, the people. Stand up and vote.
