As a teacher, I”m concerned about school funding. That”s why I strongly support Proposition 87.
Proposition 87 will benefit education in California by directing up to $2 billion in funding to California schools. It will also generate additional General Fund and Proposition 98 revenues resulting from its $4 billion investment in California”s economy.
Proposition 87 will also give up to $600 million to schools for replacing dirty school buses, in addition to tuition grants for students and new learning programs. More importantly, Proposition 87 will bring cheaper energy to California. I”m tired of my school having to spend more on gas and less on books every year.
That”s why I urge all teachers, parents and Californians to join me and support Proposition 87.
We must start taking care of our environment.
