* Clearlake Oaks Moose Lodge will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of Mooseheart, the club”s beloved orphanage, at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17 at the lodge, located at the Highway 20 and Highway 53 junction in Clearlake Oaks. The event will include dinner, karaoke music, dancing and a silent auction. Viewing of the silent auction items will begin at 3 p.m.. Announcements of the top bidders will be held after dinner.

* Serenity Place Dancing will host a halloween dance Saturday, Oct. 28 at the Clearlake Elks Lodge, Crawford Avenue at Old Highway 53 in Clearlake. * Vehicle amnesty days are available to Clearlake residents, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, and Saturday, Oct. 28, at Middletown Towing and Vehicle Dismantlers, 15970 Polk Avenue in Clearlake. Title to a vehicle is not required to dispose of vehicles. California Highway Patrol officers and volunteers, as well as Lake County Code Compliance staff, will be on site to assist participants with the necessary forms to release ownership.
