UPDATED:

The true history of the world indicates that humanity”s conflicts have never been about race, religion or ideology, although they appear to be, but have always been motivated by greed.

It is greed which motivated the invasions of South and North America and of Mexico by Indo-Europeans, and which caused slavery. It is greed which propelled colonialism and imperialism, and which inspired China to overtake Tibet and its coal in the 1950s.

Because greed causes wars to gain power over people and control over resources, because it causes persecutions, transgressions against individuals and nations, its victims are always feared, consequently ever oppressed and marginalized, often in the name of what seems to be race or religion in order to get the poor to fight the poor.

If there have ever been class wars, such internal social conflicts have not been waged by the poor against the rich, except for short periods of revolts, but by the rich against the poor, from the time of the Roman Empire to the present.

From Americans who are indebted up to their ears to children who slave in the iron ore mines of India, the multitudes are ultimately and to varying degrees forced into servitude by the laws of greed which rule the world and fragment communities, and destroy ancient cultural traditions of communal living, of sharing and cooperation, to alienate and weaken all under the principle of the survival of the fittest, the survival of the winners of the contests of greed.

When we hide our true motivations under banners of ideologies, religions or other concepts to validate our base instincts, we act as fools, tormenting others in the name of freedom, hating in the name of a messiah or prophet and exploiting or killing in the name of a better way of life.
