The country roads of Finley and Kelseyville were the setting on Sunday, Oct. 15, for the 17th annual Vineyard Run for Literacy.
The event is held each year in conjunction with the Steele Wines Harvest Festival. Participants can choose between 10K and 5K certified runs or a 5K walk. All proceeds support the Lake County Literacy Coalition.
People of all ages gathered to run or walk in support of literacy. The routes took participants along paved roads past vineyards and orchards in Finley and greater Kelseyville. Dogs on leashes and children in strollers bespoke participation by families.
