LOWER LAKE — The Lower Lake Trojans outlasted the Clear Lake Cardinals 11-25, 25-23, 25-19, 20-25, 15-11 in a North Central League I interlock varsity volleyball match held Monday in Lower Lake.
The match was originally scheduled for tonight but moved up a day because of gym availability.
“It was their desire versus our talent and desire won out,” Clear Lake coach David Laven said. “They just wanted it more than we did.”
Savannah Harrison”s 16 kills and Shana Hiatt”s 15 kills and four blocks led the Cardinals. Kirsten Wascom added five kills and eight blocks.
Clear Lake is 13-10.
