LAKE COUNTY — The Christmas season is now in full swing with events to celebrate the holidays all around the county.

Lakeport and Cobb didn”t wait long after Thanksgiving to start the festivities with their fourth-annual all-day events. Lakeport”s Dicken”s Christmas Market runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. along Main Street, and will feature costume-clad characters, food booths, Santa”s workshop sponsored by Sutter Lakeside Hospital, an all-day market and a 5:30 p.m. lighted parade and Christmas tree lighting afterward.

Cobb”s Holiday in the Pines features original works of art for sale, live music and photo ops with Santa from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rob Roy Golf course at 16451 Golf Road off of Highway 175. Entrance donation is $1 for ages 15 and up.

UPPER LAKE A 19-year Lake County tradition, teddy bears of all types and eras fill the shop windows along Main Street in downtown Upper Lake throughout the holiday season. LAKEPORT Fourth-annual Christmas event in which Lakeport is transformed into an old English village, complete with costume-clad characters, hot cider and food booths, sleigh rides, a treasure hunt, carol music, strolling minstrels, and other Christmas entertainment. The Christmas Lighted Parade begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Christmas Tree Lighting at 6:30 p.m. Christmas Market is open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Main Street.
