LOWER LAKE — Katie Hoy scored 27 points, including eight 3-pointers, and the Salesian Chieftains worked over the Lower Lake Trojans 81-47 in a non-league varsity girls” basketball game on Saturday in Lower Lake.
“That girl can shoot,” Lower Lake coach Andrew Carpenter said.
Lower Lake (1-1) had a 16-9 lead late in the first quarter until Hoy sank 3-pointers on three consecutive possessions. She hit four more during the Chieftains” 26-point second quarter as they opened up a 46-25 halftime lead.
Rissy Prude”s 11 points paced the Trojans, Passion Allen added 10 and Amber Shoffeitt had nine.
