Donate Toys for Tots

LAKEPORT — Ashley”s Restaurant will be hosting a toy drive from Dec 1 through Dec.18. For every unwrapped toy brought in, a free dessert will be awarded. All toys will be donated to Children of Domestic Violence in the Lake County area. Please come in and help support the community. Any questions please call 263-1399 or come in at 155 N. Main St.

CHRISTMAS CHEER TOY/GIFT DRIVE

UPPER LAKE — The 13th annual Upper Lake Fire Department/Auxiliary Christmas Cheer Program for the Northshore areas of Blue Lakes, Upper Lake, Nice and Lucerne is well underway. We are seeking donations of unwrapped gifts/toys for children under the age of 17. Gift tags are available at the Upper Lake Branch of WestAmerica Bank. Donations can be dropped off at the Bank in Upper Lake, Pet Acres on Hiway 20 in Upper Lake, Nice Fire Department or Upper Lake Fire Department. Canned food drives for the program are being held at the Upper Lake Elementary and Middle School and by various other organizations in the Northshore Area. And Ladies of the Quilt

LAKEPORT — The Ladies of the Lake Quilt Guild will meet on Saturday in the Scotts Valley Women”s Clubhouse at 2298 Hendricks Rd. The doors open at 9 a.m. and the meeting begins at 10 a.m.. Come early to browse the quilt library, sign up for special events, and socialize. This is the annual Christmas party. There will be a potluck luncheon and a gift exchange. For the gift exchange, bring a white elephant gift and one yard of high-quality cotton quilting fabric. The gift and the fabric should be put into a brown bag with a bow on it. LLQG welcomes all quilters and prospective quilters to its meetings and events. Through a variety of programs and projects, the quilt guild members learn new skills and techniques, benefit the community, and enjoy themselves. New Beginnings hosts tea party benefit

CLEARLAKE ? The public is invited to Teddy”s Tea Party, a fundraiser benefitting Lake County Community Action Agency and New Beginnings.

Parents and Children up to age 12 are invited to share in a tea party, complete with finger foods, desserts and a silent auction. The party is today, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge, 7100 S. Center Drive. The price of this event is $12 per ticket. To purchase tickets, call 995-2920 or 995-3235. Tickets will also be available at the door.

Pancakes for Breakfast

Annual Craft and Bake Sale

Light Parade and Tree Lighting

UPPER LAKE — Westamerica Bank and Upper Lake Community Council will host the 3rd annual Holiday Light Parade and Tree Lighting Saturday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Beginning with Christmas caroling, the lighting of the tree will be followed by the light parade. Upper Lake 4-H will sell hot dogs, hamburgers and chili. Santa Claus will arrive on the Upper Lake Fire Dept. truck. Photos of the children can be picked up at the Upper Lake Branch of Westamerica Bank. Chili Bowl Feed

MIDDLETOWN — The Middle School Parent Teacher Student Organization will be holding its 2nd Annual Chili Feed today in the multipurpose room/cafeteria at Middletown High.
