Kind people continue to make donations to the Lake County Christmas Fund. Donations received as of presstime Tuesday, were as follows:

Money raised through the 22nd Annual Christmas Fund will be used to buy 1,200 food baskets for needy families throughout Lake County. The Lake Family Resource Center, located at 896 Lakeport Blvd. in Lakeport, is accepting sign-ups through Friday, Dec. 15, for families living in Kelseyville, Lakeport, Lucerne, Finley, Whitter Springs, Nice and Upper Lake. Please bring ID, proof of income and address.

The Lake County Community Action Agency has coordinated family sign-ups for residents of Lower Lake, Clearlake, Clearlake Oaks, Spring Valley, Clearlake Park and Glenhaven. Needy families in Hidden Valley Lake, Middletown and Cobb are being served by Spirit of the Season.

If you would like to make a donation to the Lake County Christmas Fund, please bring your contribution to any local branch of Umpqua or Westamerica banks. The Christmas Fund is sponsored each year by Lake County Publishing, Lakeport Rotary Club, Bruno”s Shop Smart and the Lake County Community Action Agency.
