Loving wife, mother and grandmother, Shirley Ann Conley entered into rest with the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006. A lifelong resident of Lakeport, Shirley was a Clear Lake Cardinal Mascot, spearheaded the “Yellow Ribbon” campaign in downtown Lakeport during the Desert Storm War and volunteered for the American Cancer Society.
Her biggest accomplishment in life was being a loving and nurturing wife, mother and grandmother to her family.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Ron; daughters, Stacie Rose, Dedie Quigley (Michael) and Christy Galloway (Roy); grandchildren who will forever remember Nana”s “love you to Heaven and back,” David and Stephanie Quigley, Ryan Strugnell, Britney and Morgan Rose, Kiana Dittman and Collin Galloway.
She was preceded in death by her son, Danny Rose.
Shirley will be laid to rest in an intimate private family graveside memorial on Thursday, Dec. 14. Following the memorial the family would like to extend an invitation to friends to join them in a celebration of Shirley”s life at 2 p.m. the Conley”s residence, 1425 Oak Hill Crt., Lakeport.
