I recently read in the national news media, that historians are stating that you may go down in history as the worst American president. Across the country cities and colleges are demonstrating for impeachment. Clinton faced impeachment for lying about his zipper. Not one loss of human life. If this civil war continues for another two years, your decision to attack Iraq for oil will result in more Americans killed than Bin Laden”s 9/11. Plus fifty-thousand crippled for life. And more innocent men, women and children will be killed than Sadaam is accused of. It”s been averaging fifty a day.
Every time a politician or a member of your administration has been accused of criminal activity, you have asked us to not pass judgment until the investigations are completed. Yet, you ordered the military bombardment, before the UN WMD [United Nations ? Weapons of Mass Destruction] inspectors completed their investigations.
Honorable Colin Powell resigned because he had enough of the falsehoods from this administration. He rightfully concluded that you cannot force a democracy down the throat of a radically different culture, religion, and political ideology from ours.
Oil executives conspired to retain Republican control by purposely dropping pump prices in mid- summer, in order to influence voters. It failed miserably. Voters made it clear that we want the Bush war to end. Our young folks are refusing to sacrifice their lives for oil. Volunteering has grossly declined to prove the point.
If impeachment is on the horizon, you and Cheney should follow Nixon”s path and resign. His decision saved us taxpayers the fortune the impeachment process would cost. Your only other path is to stop the daily killing of humans by ending this impossible goal ASAP. We strongly recommend that you listen to a respected American. Your dad.
