The Squad bettered its record to 4-0 with a well-earned win Saturday, Dec. 16 over Lay”em Down. The Squad held the Lay”em Down offense to zero points with the defense scoring 6 on a punt return. The final score in the bout was 18-6.
The Clear Lake Cardinals also bettered its record to 4-0 with a 20-8 victory over the Sandbaggers (0-4). Footballs Deep moved to 2-1 with a shut-out victory of 38-0 over the Young Guns (1-3). The Kelseyville Indians (1-2) picked up a win with a forfeit by Hidden Valley Foodmart (1-3); Upper Lake (1-2) enjoyed a bye on Saturday.
Glory Days Flag Football consists of two divisions. The top two teams from each division will advance to the play-offs with the winners of those matches advancing to the championship game. Division No. 1 includes Lay”em Down, The Squad, the Sandbaggers, Young Guns and Footballs Deep. Division No. 2 includes the Clear Lake Cardinals, Hidden Valley Foodmart, Upper Lake and the Kelseyville Indians.
