Merrill Hughes Williams, age 84, of Visalia, passed away Nov. 13, 2006 and was born in Minnesota on the family farm on April 12, 1922. He was an avid motorcycle rider and a life member of the American Motorcycle Association. Merrill was also a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Lakeport and a member of the Screen Actor”s Guild.

Merrill was a World War II Veteran and was a carpenter by trade.

He loved his family and will be truly missed by family and his friends.

Merrill is survived by his daughters, Shirley and husband Jonathan Wallace of Visalia and Tris Williams of Los Angeles; brothers, Ed and wife Beverly Williams of Redding, and David and wife Lillian Williams of Arizona; and grandchildren, Ira Williams and Chris Carney.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Williams and sister, Rhoda Smith.

Private services and burial at Willows Cemetery.
