NEVADA COUNTY — Shooting suspect Ronnell Lee Isaac was arrested in Nevada County, Friday, on two counts of attempted murder stemming from an October shooting in Clearlake.
According to a Clearlake Police Department press release, the arrest was conducted by CPD officers with assistance from the Nevada County Narcotics Task Force and deputies from that area.
The shooting involved a 26-year-old male and 33-year-old female who were shot multiple times. The two identified Issac as the shooter.
According to the CPD report, Isaac reportedly pursued the victims” vehicle just prior to the incident and pulled in behind them when they stopped.
After the incident, Isaac reportedly fled the scene. The male victim then drove himself and the female victim to Redbud Hospital, where they were treated for their injuries.
Isaac, 33, is in custody at the Hill Road Correctional Facility in Lakeport, and is being held with a $100,000 bond.
