Clearlake resident Ronell Lee Isaac, 30, was arrested Tuesday, Dec. 26, on two counts of attempted murder. Isaac had been sought by the Clearlake Police Department in connection with shootings that took place in October.

On Thursday, Oct. 12, the CPD received a report of two victims being shot in front of the American Legion Hall at 14700 Austin Drive. The victims, 26-year-old Kenneth Woodford and 33-year-old Georgina Faith, had allegedly been shot several times by a known suspect, who was identified as Ronell Isaac. According to the initial report, Isaac reportedly pursued the victims” vehicle just prior to the incident and pulled in behind them when they stopped. After the incident, Isaac reportedly fled the scene.

Details of Isaac”s booking are posted on the Lake County Sheriff”s Office Web site, www.lakesheriff.com. Isaac was taken into custody by arresting officer Detective Snyder with the CPD. No further information was available as of presstime.
