Verla “Dolly” Giovannetti was born Aug. 7, 1925 in San Francisco. She attended Fairmont and Mission High Schools. She was employed by Speedo Electric, Fox Theatre, Presidio, and retired from Glidden Paint Co.
Dolly and her husband Edward, moved to Lake County in 1988 and lived in the city of Clearlake until their dream house was finished in Hidden Valley Lake in 1991.
Dolly enjoyed exercising, line dancing, playing bridge and most of all spending time with her family and friends.
Dolly left this world Friday, Dec. 22, 2006 and is survived by three children, Don (Linda) of San Bruno, Edward (Dale) of Clearlake, and Linda (Lee) of Hidden Valley Lake; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be shared from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10 at the Greenview Restaurant in Hidden Valley Lake.
