June Marie Parenteau was born June 23, 1931 in Clearlake Oaks and passed away Jan. 3, 2007.
June loved gardening, sewing, hunting, fishing and crocheting.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Tony Parenteau; daughters, Mina Pierce, Starlene Parenteau, Fay Whitted, Melonie Parenteau and Tiffany Parenteau; sons, Luther Gene Weathers and Michael Duke Parenteau; 23 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
June was received into heaven by her parents, George and Ermina Young; brother, George E. Young; sister, Beatrice Pagonis; son, Donald E. Poland; daughter, Toni Ann Parenteau; and grandson, Christopher Parenteau.
A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Jan. 9 with services beginning at noon, burial to follow at Lower Lake Cemetery.
