Lee Francis Cox was born July 10, 1930 in Lakeport and passes away Jan. 4, 2007 at Sutter Lakeside Hospital at the age of 76.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn S. Cox of Upper Lake; daughters, Deborah Scheffel of Rippon, Susan Kincaid of Concord and Lourie Knall of Mont Claire; and sister, Ruth Kappler of Mendocino. He also leaves eight grandchildren and expecting their first great-grandchild shortly.
Lee was a member of the Ukiah Masonic Lodge (ABEL) and was employed with the State of California for over 21 years as an equipment operator supervisor.
Lee requested cremation and his remains will be placed at the Upper Lake Cemetery with other family members, at a later date.
No services will be held.
