Comments regarding the mess we find ourselves in Iraq, its staggering cost, and how it casts a dark shadow on the American dream regarding our future access to health care, higher education, and worthwhile goals of all Americans — so true!
I wish 13 year-old Darcy McCarrick would send her profoundly well-written letter [Dec. 27 Lake County Record-Bee] to our President, our Congress, public TV.
It is Ms. McCarrick”s generation who will pay so dearly for this ill-begotten, mismanaged war. It is such a sad legacy.
