CLOVERDALE — Right from the start, Middletown High School varsity boys” basketball coach Marnin Pyzer said he knew it wasn”t going to be the Mustangs” night.
He was right.
“We just had a rough night all around, in every aspect of the game,” Pyzer said following the Mustangs” 65-28 North Central League I interlock loss to the Cloverdale Eagles on Saturday night in Cloverdale. “It was just a long night for us.”
Cloverdale led 18-3 after one quarter, setting the tone for the game. It was 34-9 at halftime and 54-19 through three quarters.
Nikeedra Davis” 13 points paced Middletown (3-12) and Kayla Welton added six.
