LAKEPORT — Clear Lake High School”s wrestling team, fresh off a second-place finish at last weekend”s Mustang Invitational in Middletown, beat Lower Lake 50-22 in a Coastal Mountain Conference match on Wednesday in Lakeport.
Clear Lake winners in contested matches were Tyler Hayes at 125 pounds, Eric Jameson at 135 pounds, Bobby Latona at 160 pounds, Michael Kroppmann at 171 pounds and Daniel Gildea at 215 pounds.
Clear Lake hosts its own tournament, the Clear Lake Invitational, on Saturday. Middletown, Lower Lake, Kelseyville and Upper Lake are included in the field.
