Jan. 22 will mark the 34th anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade decision: 34 years of unrestricted abortion. Is there any regret for the 47 million aborted children? How many potential scientists, doctors, and teachers were aborted? Is there any regret over the countless women wounded, killed and assaulted in the abortion mills? Will anyone remember this anniversary? Or will the nation carry on, business as usual, shopping and watching football?

Our nation prides itself in giving “inalienable” rights to all. That means these rights are “incapable of being taken away.” When we suddenly take away one group”s rights, such as the unborn, our nation is destined to crumble.

Will our nation endure another 34 years of slaughtering the innocent? I pray it will not. How can we continue to sleep at night with 4,000 children dying every day? Many say that abortion is no longer an issue. Abortion is a new tragedy because the babies who die today never died before.
