Weldon Thomas passed away Jan. 16, 2007, at the age of 89. A long time resident of Clearlake Oaks, Weldon was born in Missouri and was a past resident of Pinole, Calif.
He is survived by his loving wife, Catherine Thomas; son, Ed Dolan; grandchildren, Michelle and Morgan Dolan; great-grandchildren, Kaitlin, Corvin and Gabriel; brothers, Herb, Aubrey, J.G. and Miles Thomas; sister, Doris Richardson; and many nieces and nephews.
His parents and his brother, Willis, preceded him in death.
A World War II Veteran, Weldon had been a Merchant Marine. After his discharge, he went on to become a private pilot and owned his own Cessna. A great mechanic and a great person, Weldon will be missed by his family and friends.
Services for Weldon Thomas will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22 at Jones & Lewis Clear Lake Memorial Chapel, 16140 Main St., Lower Lake. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 11 a.m. until the service begins at 1 p.m.
