Laverne H. Strutz, a friend of Bill W. for 31 years, passed away in San Diego on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007, at the age of 81.
He served in the Air Force during World War II, was employed as a butcher and retired in Lake County with his wife Selina.
He is survived by his son, George Strutz of San Diego, and his daughters, Karen Heflin of Sonora and JoAnn Lint of Redding.
