Roger Ellsworth Curry passed away Jan. 13, 2007 at Meadowood Nursing Home in Clearlake, after a lengthy illness. Roger was born in Ellenburg Center, N.Y. March 10, 1916, to Willian Curry and Katherine Cromp.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Neva, of 64 years on Nov. 2, 2006.

He leaves a sister, Madge Davis; brother, Dana (Mona) of Ellensburg, N.Y. He is also survived by children, Sharon McBride and Noel Curry; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Roger entered the Army Air Force after graduation from High School. While stationed at Merced Air Base, he met and married Neva Hammer in 1942. He fought in Africa and Europe in World War II. He retired from the service in 1945. They moved to San Jose where he worked and retired from IBM.

In 1979 they moved to Kelseyville where they lived for 27 years. He will be missed by family and friends.

A private service will be held in Ellenburg Center, N.Y. Rememberences may be made to the Galilee Lutheran Church, 8860 Soda Bay Road, Kelseyville, CA 95461.
