LAKE COUNTY — If you would like to attend the second annual Mendocino College Hall of Fame induction ceremonies, tickets can be purchased locally by calling Gary Taylor at 263-1447.
Tickets for the induction dinner are $35.
Five athletes are being inducted into the college”s Hall of Fame on Feb. 24 at Redwood Valley Cellars in Redwood Valley. Wine tasting begins at 6 p.m. and dinner follows at 7 p.m. Of the five, three — Ronnie Cruz (Clear Lake High), Tim Angiolini (Upper Lake) and Angela Mantele (Lower Lake) are former Lake County high school standouts.
Cruz opened the 2006 season as the starting fullback for the Kansas City Chiefs.
