MIDDLETOWN — In a showdown of undefeated teams, the Kelseyville Knights, behind 10 points from Ashley Mueller, beat the Middletown Mustangs 38-21 in a North Central League I North junior varsity girls” basketball game on Friday in Middletown.
Both teams brought 3-0 league records into the contest, which closed out the first half of the NCL I North schedule.
Alicia Siri”s 11 points paced Middletown (3-1).
“They pressed us the whole game and we couldn”t handle it,” Middletown coach Joel Pyzer said. “I”m pretty happy with our defense, but we couldn”t handle their defense.”
