KELSEYVILLE — Tony Zagajowski scored 12 points and Ryan Johnson added nine, all on 3-pointers, to lead the Middletown Mustangs past the Kelseyville Knights 52-38 in a North Central League I North junior varsity boys” basketball game on Friday in Kelseyville.
Matt Jones scored a team-high 17 points for Kelseyville.
“They were ahead of us 37-14 at halftime,” an impressed Kelseyville coach Mark Conrad said of the Mustangs. “They came here to play. My hat”s off to Jimmy Seymour (the Middletown coach and a former Kelseyville player).”
