Ben W. Sloane passed away on Jan. 27, 2007, at the age of 74. Born in Maryville, Tenn., he had been a resident of Clearlake for 16 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Christine Sloane; children, Jeff Sloane, Kathy Duvall, Ben Sloane, Karyn Fonseca, Melissa Denton and Lawrence Dawe; brother, Jack Sloane and 14 grandchildren.
A graduate of Washington State University, Ben spent many years in the Bay Area and worked for AT&T for 32 years.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service that will be held for Ben at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 5 at St. Clement Episcopal Church, 2837 Claremont Blvd, Berkeley.
