Kelseyville resident Millicent L. Wood died on Dec. 13, 2006 of natural causes. She was born April 18, 1924 in Waukesha County, Wis. She traveled extensively, cruising to Alaska and Hawaii. She drove her “million miles” visiting the U.S.A., family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and collecting coins and stamps.
She is survived by her sister, Allene Chubik; her brother, Chester Laing; her daughter, Joyce Wood; and her granddaughters Julie McKelvie, Lisa Tracy, Susan Cleveland, Cassandra Peterson and Shelley Kruckeberg. She had 13 great grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Milicent loved life and valued freedom. Her kindheartedness and compassion for others earned her many friends. She will be remembered. Any condolences to the family can be expressed to the family through Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary in Lakeport.
