Florence Evelyn McCutcheon died on Feb. 1, 2007. She was born Feb. 15, 1931 to John and Esther McCutcheon at West Plains, Mo.
She came to Nice, at the age of 9, where she lived with her grandparents and younger sister. She attended Upper Lake Elementary, Westlake School and Upper Lake High graduating with the class of 1949. She is also a graduate of Paradise Valley Hospital School of Nursing, National City, the class of 1953.
Florence worked for 45 years as a registered nurse at Lakeside Hospital and then Sutter Lakeside, Lakeport. Florence is survived by her two sisters of Lower Lake, Rachel Hutchinson and Helen Lakey; an aunt Goldie Moore and niece Rebecca Lakey of Clearlake; also two nieces, Yvonne Kelly of Medford, Mass., and April Brown of Shoreline, Wash.; an uncle Frank McCutcheon of Glendale, Ariz.; an aunt Ann Eliason of Washburn, Wis.
Memorial Services will be held for Florence at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24 at the Clearlake Seventh-day Adventist Church, 14490 Uhl Street, Clearlake.
