My husband and I spent a wonderful evening Saturday. We attended the Guest Chef Special Dinner at the Blue Wing Saloon. The dinners are served next door to the Blue Wing in the wonderfully restored Tallman Hotel. After a light champagne, we all settled into seating at tables set for 2, 4, 6 or 8, allowing us all to meet new people. Each of five courses, prepared by Chef Jerry Mulrooney, was paired with a different wine. Local wine steward, Matt Hughes, discussed the various attributes of each combination. We concluded with a great dessert tray and a choice of two dessert wines. Meeting new people, sampling great food and wine what a great evening!
