John Kusalo was born Jan. 6, 1913 in Gromaca, Yugoslavia and passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Feb. 20, 2007.
John served in the Merchant Marines during World War II.
He is survived by his loving wife Ann of 64 years; daughter, Helen Matacin of Santa Rosa; daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Barney Forbes of Lakeport; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services are private.
