Mark was a gentle soul who will be missed. “We”ll see you later Mark.”
He is survived by Jarth and Patty Oates of Lakeport; mother, Marilyn Guerr of Rohnert Park; brother, Norman Oates and family of Petaluma; brother, Rodney Oates and family of Fairfax; sister, Angela Ratto-Loren and family of Lakeport; aunt, Beverlee Bennett and family of Windsor; and fiancee, Lynn Chapman of Santa Rosa.
Mark is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Oates; and brothers, Joey and Larry Ratto.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10 at Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary, 1625 High St., Lakeport.
