I agree with Mr. Unger”s letter (Record-Bee, Jan. 31). The paper no longer covers much local news, and is now quite dull. Police logs used to be the most interesting column to read, often even humorous. Human interest stories of unique local residents have mostly disappeared.
Garden tips are still in, but animal stories are out. Many retired people live here, and have to thumb through pages of sports, and even a kid”s page, just to get to the obituaries. Please consider remodelling the news.
