Deputy Mike Pascoe of the Lake County Sheriff”s Department deserves thanks and recognition for the excellent firearm safety class he provided through his department last weekend.
In teaching this class, Deputy Pascoe conducted himself in a manner which demonstrated his knowledge, skill, interest, professionalism and intelligence.
As Americans, we have a Second Amendment right to bear arms. Anyone who chooses to excercise that right should do so in a manner which is safe and lawful. Deputy Pascoe supports this goal by virtue of the instruction he provides.
My congratulations to Sheriff Mitchell for continuing to provide the public with this program and to Deputy Pascoe for making it an educational, entertaining and worthwhile endeavor.
