LAKEPORT — You can watch two basketball games for the price of one and support a good cause in the process tonight at the Clear Lake High School gym in Lakeport.
Members of Clear Lake High”s faculty will play a team of senior girls at 6 p.m., to be followed by the faculty vs. senior boys” game.
Game proceeds support the Invisible Children Education Program, which builds schools and provides educational opportunities for children in Uganda”s war-torn northern communities. It provides and improves the learning environment so that these children can take responsibility for their future and the future of their country.
Clear Lake High School sophomore Nycole Copping will speak about the Invisible Children program at halftime of both games.
Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students (with or without a student body card). The snack bar will be open and a donation box for Invisible Children will be on site.
