Nancy Alzina Evenson, age 66, passed away on March 16, 2007 in St. Helena, with her family by her side. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Nancy was born July 21, 1940 in Tulare, Calif.

She will be greatly missed by her family.

Nancy is survived by her two brothers and sisters and their spouses David Bolt and wife, Charles Duncan Jr. and wife, sister Patricia Wilburn, and Joanne Crnich and husband Leonard; children and their spouses, Loretta Sturges, Dale Evenson and wife Bobbi, Gary Andersen and wife Doris, Larry Andersen, Tommy Evenson, Linda Banfill and husband Ray, Kim Gunderson and husband Dave, and son Donnie Dobbs and wife Victoria; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Nancy had many loves, mainly her children and grandchildren. She was known for opening her heart and home to many needy friends and strangers alike.

She loved working in her garden, reading, cooking, spending time with her kids and grandkids, and loving her cats.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Evenson; her companion of 20 years, Roland Johnson; two daughters, Felicity Evenson and Tonya Evenson; and grandson, Justin Andersen.

There will be a celebration of her life at noon Saturday, March 24 at the Banfill residence, 2642 Hill Road East, Lakeport. All friends and family are invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, we request all donations be made to SPCA of Clearlake, 8025 Hwy. 29, Kelseyville, CA 95451, in memory of Nancy Evenson.
