Florine Davis, of Lakeport, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 14, 2007. She was born Oct. 14, 1946 in Madera, Calif., to Geno and Elizabeth Giaccani.
Her father, Geno came to America by ship from Italy. She grew up in San Francisco, with her two brothers, Geno, Jr. and her twin Floyd.
She graduated high school in 1964, where she continued onto college to study for the medical field. She had her first son Tony, in 1971, with her second born in 1979, Nick.
In 1981, she relocated from Colorado to Clearlake, where her mom and dad had been living since 1957. She moved from Clearlake to Lakeport in 1999 with her husband Larry.
She enjoyed traveling and going to black powder rendezvous.
Her hobbies consisted of making ceramics and various crafts and playing with her grandchildren. She”s had strong family and friend connections.
Surviving include her husband, Larry Davis; son, Tony with wife Julie and their two sons, Ethan and Gabriel; younger son, Nick and wife Heather with their two sons, Nico and Hayden; brother, Floyd Giaccani with his wife Para and their children, Debbie, Floyd and Tammy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Geno and Elizabeth Giaccani and her older brother, Geno Jr.
She was cremated on Wednesday, March 21, 2007.
The family will hold a private service.
