Ray Giumelli passed away suddenly in his sleep on March 14, 2007. Ray was born in Willits on July 28, 1947 and lived there during his youth. He lived in Ukiah for the past 20 years and was very involved with the AA program here. Ray was an active supporter of the 12 step program.

Ray enjoyed going on long drives, spending time at home in his yard and being with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Despina and Teddy Saulmon of Ukiah; son, Erick Giumelli of Redwood Valley; six grandchildren, Kelsey, Brandon, Jadon and Connor Saulmon, and Meghan and Rileigh Giumelli all of Ukiah; fianc?e, Mary Lee Bloyd of Lakeport; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Bob McGee of Gilroy; brother, Robert Giumelli of Bloomington, Ind.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He will be greatly missed. We know he is in a better place and will see him again.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 24 at Eversole Funeral Home, 141 Low Gap Rd. Ukiah.

There will be a gathering of family and friends after the service at 349 Washington Street, Ukiah, 707-463-1979.
