I was really sorry to see, or should I say not see, a story about the seniors at Autumn Village Apartments in your last paper.
All I saw was about the Stars of Lake County. Gee, seniors sure do seem to come in last when it comes to this county and the papers around here.
What a story you didn”t seem to have room for, for the first time a senior complex had a planned fire drill. This is needed at all the apartments around the county.
Not only did it help the fire department get an idea on what could happen, but it gave the seniors a chance to practice getting out of their apartments safely and calmly.
