What in the world is wrong with some people? Two weeks ago, a person grumbled because she had to go through the Kid”s Page to find the obits in the Record-Bee. I guess she wanted to see if she was still alive.
Then, a man puts down our children for objecting to the cruel war. Our youth have a right to protest evil and with all the news coverage of the war our kids are faced daily with insecurity about lives. They see massive deaths from bombing our service men maimed and killed. Is the right that they should be kept quiet.
You people need to look past the statements you make. Our kids need to have fun things in the paper to do . We also understand why our children want the war to end and keep our service men safe. War is pure hell for everyone and especially our young.
I remember World War II, and I was very scared and had no voice to have an opinion. No war is ever going to be good for our youth and they need to express themselves. I thought that was what America was about “Freedom of speech…”
So get off the soap box before you slip and slide right down out of Lake County. We need people that are for our children. They are the voice of the future and need to be heard. If all I had to complain about was the obits and our youth, I would hide in shame.
