Jane went to be with the Lord on April 2, 2007
Jane”s love of family and zest for life shone in every thing she did. A tiny lady with a big heart, she touched in a very special way all who were privileged to know her. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother of four, great-grandmother of 12, and great-great-grandmother of four.
Jane was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Aug. 17, 1918 and married Donald W. Mann in 1935 in Carthage, Ind. A son, Donald Richard Mann was born of that union. After being widowed she and “Dick” moved to Ukiah in 1957.
She married William C. Auld and lived in Ukiah. She was widowed again in 1994.
In 2005, Jane moved to Lakeport to be near her son, daughter-in-law Linda and her loving extended family.
Jane was preceded in death by her brother, Lloyd Henby and sister, Gloria Murphy.
She is survived by her brother, Richard (Norma Lee) Henby; son, Dick (Linda) Mann; stepson, Ronald (Lynn) Auld; grandsons, Richard (Merleen) Mann; Clifford (Sharlene) Mann; granddaughters, Ramona (Lorin) Richardson and Rheta (Gary) Perkins; great-grandchildren, Jamie (Gary) Watkins, Kim, Sandra and Crystal Ford, Angel Mann, Isabella Mann, Jordan and Sidney Miller, Ryan, Crystal and Nicholas Brennan, and Teressa Perkins; great-great-grandchildren, Trenton, Layton and Kylyn Watkins and Jason Meyer. Jane also has a loving extended family in Texas. Heaven is rejoicing!
