I was disheartened to read your front page headline, on a Saturday no less, above the fold, which told of stolen cars being discovered in Lakeport. Just the headline we want our tourists to see when they visit our beautiful community.
A reader last week made an excellent and rational suggestion of putting your stories about murders, robberies, stolen goods, meth lab busts, etc. on the second page. I applaud that suggestion. Save the front page for local and regional news items. We locals can check page 2 to keep up with above-mentioned happenings.
