I read with interest the opinion piece by Mr. Brumfield in last Saturday”s Record-Bee. He is so right. Something needs to be done about the situation here in Clearlake. More people need to get involved. We have owned property on the corner of 27th and Boyles for 10 years.
In that time nothing has been done to improve the area. We have a dirt street on 27th, and we eat dust every day. It gets inside the house. Boyles has so many rough places it is wrecking our cars. We pay our taxes and when we added on here we bought all the permits,
which were several.
They are crowding us out with new houses up here and are doing nothing to the streets and making no improvements whatsoever. I say it is time something is done about this. Thank God someone will speak up about this but it takes more than one person to do anything.
Where is all the tax and permit money going? I would like to know.
