The family and friends of James “Tex” Everett say goodbye to a father, a friend. James, a 35 year resident of Clear Lake, was known as Tex by many, Buddy by others, and Jim by others. But no matter what name you used, you knew a humorous, down home, kindhearted man with a generous soul. He spent his working years in construction. He loved fishing and hunting. He was a hard worker, and loyal friend to all and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsa “Ebby” Everett who was lovingly at his side until her passing in 2003.

He leaves eight children, 19 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren who loved their “Papa” dearly. He was 82 years old.

The Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 17 at Milton Carpenter Funeral Home, 569 N. First Street, Dixon, CA 95688.
